A Louise Bourgeois’ exhibition entitled Rare Language will be inaugurated on Tuesday June at Studio Trisorio gallery in Naples.

The show is one of the stops on the Italian itinerary that pays tribute to one of the most inuential contemporary artists, partnering the Studio Trisorio with prestigious museums such as the Galleria Borghese and Villa Medici in Rome, the Museo Novecento and the Museo degli Innocenti in Florence.

On display at Studio Trisorio will be drawings made by the artist between and and four bronze sculptures that bear witness to her poetics over the course of a lengthy chronological period.

Louise Bourgeois’ art is permeated with autobiographical memories that concern all aspects of her life, particularly her childhood spent in Paris, and her relationship with her mother and father have remained a profound source of inspiration because, as the artist herself has stated, they have never lost their mystery, magic and drama.

On Friday, May , , at pm, a solo exhibition by Rebecca Horn entitled Bodylandscape will open at Studio Trisorio, located at Riviera di Chiaia .

The exhibition will feature works on paper including some Bodylandscape, the large-scale drawings characteristic of Horn’s work, whose dimensions correspond exactly to the full extension of her own body.

The Bodylandscape is created as performative acts capable of establishing a relationship between the artist’s inner external worlds, through the impulsive and immediate force of the gesture, which evokes images of both cosmic and inner landscapes on the surface. These works, intended not only as traces of physical movement but also as expressions of emotional and passionate energy, characterize Horn’s entire artistic journey. Though expressed in a dierent form, they maintain continuity with her body-centered performances of the s.

As in all of Horn's creations, one senses her poetics inspired by the energies of the universe in her works on paper. Each piece seems to emit a mysterious force that evokes dreamlike scenarios, triggering a connection between the viewer and the artist’s most intimate world.

The exhibition commemorates the artist, who passed away on September , and coincides with the retrospective at the Castello di Rivoli in Turin from May to September , —the rst solo exhibition dedicated to Horn in a public museum in Italy.
