I’m Fatima Adam Madibo, a 31 years old Senior Architect. I grew up in a family full of engineers, that prompted me to be interested in architecture from a very young age. Graduated in 2010 from Sudan University of Science and Technology. Worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Garden City for one year, then at SIBDO Engineering Consultancy for 9 years. I also find passion in social responsibility and volunteer work, mentored with AlSudaniya Mentoring and designed with Charity Guest House for Cancer patients.

You can achieve what-ever you want whenever you want as long as you do something you love. Architecture for is very challenging, the work environment is tough and we have to prove ourselves to get acceptance, yet have good communication skills to get the jobs done smoothly. I’m glad to say after all these years, I’m still as motivated as a fresh graduate. I gained more experience and widened my perspective to new aspects. Now I’m in Canada trying to tailor a master’s program that merges between real estate development, interior design, smart technologies and green architecture.
