• Ableism/Ableist : discrimination in favor of able-bodied people.
• Able-bodied: A person who is fit, strong, and healthy. A person who does not identify as being disabled physically, mentally, emotionally, or socially.
CHURCH MEMBERSHIP (STATS)
• A recent survey shared that the percentage of adults with disabilities who attend religious services was 50%.
• Some studies suggest that families with disabled children are less likely to attend church.
• One study found that 84% of families with children who have autism are less likely to attend church than typical families.
• Another study found that more than half of parents of children with disabilities reported that their child had been excluded at church.

• Autism affects 1 in 36 children in the US.
