About Us
HISTORY
Founded in 2019, the Street Cats Club is the only rescue in Lyon County, KS, focused on preventing stray animals. Each year, the Street Cats Club provides free spay/neuter services for hundreds of stray cats, reducing the population's growth and improving the cats' lives.
COMMITMENT
The Street Cats Club is dedicated to removing barriers preventing cats from being spayed/neutered. Every nth, we go into the community to humanely trap, rilize, vaccinate, and return stray cats. Furthermore, created the "Lola Love Fund" to give low-income cat ners free spay/neuter surgeries. Our Foster Program vides care and support for sick, injured, and haned stray cats before adopting them into good mes. Finally, we provide cat colony caregivers with ter shelters and cat food. In line with our mission, educate the public about the importance of ying/neutering their cats.
COMMUNITY
The Street Cats Club has become essential to Lyon County in under four years. The 100% volunteer-ran group has more than 30 individuals who donate their time to improve the lives of homeless cats. The group prides itself on being a good partner with animal rescues throughout the community, the state, and even the midwest. We enjoy connecting with others who share our passion for helping the less fortunate and know that working together is the best way to help.
We improved the lives of 338 cats in 2022 through spay/neuter.

Your sponsorship provides critical funding for the Street Cats Club to continue its work providing spay/neuter services for hundreds of stray cats, fostering sick, injured, and orphaned cats, and providing community support. THE CROWD
We are working hard to ensure this event is well attended and estimate 100 guests for our inaugural ball. Of these guests, we anticipate the age demographic will range from the mid-20s to late-60s, with most attendees living within Lyon County, KS. We are working with vendors, donors, and sponsors from within Lyon County to give love to our hometown and support local businesses.

About the Event
The Black Cat Ball is an upscale Halloween party-style fundraiser for the Street Cats Club. All money raised from this event will improve the lives of homeless cats throughout Lyon County, Kansas.
DETAILS
This year's event will occur on Friday, October 13, 2023.
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM | VIP Reception
A VIP Reception will kick off the evening, offering attendees early access to the bar, gourmet hor d'oeuvres, and exclusive time with some of the Street Cats Club foster cats before the rest of the crowd arrives.
7:00 PM - 10:00 PM | Main Event
Enjoy an evening of spooky entertainment, dinner, dancing, drinking, and more, all taking place inside the stunning Granada Theatre in downtown Emporia, KS. Dance the night away to music by Turner Entertainment. Dine on a delicious dinner catered by Chi Em Eats. Delite in dessert offerings provided by Flint Hills Technical College. Sample one of our signature spooky drinks. Coming in costume? Take home $100 CASH by winning the costume contest. Finally, there will be plenty of scary activities for you to take in throughout the night, including a haunted tour, opportunities to win prizes, and a photo booth to capture all the memories.
