CONCRETE WASHOUT BAGS
The Stratex Concrete Washout Bag provides a quick and convenient solution to contain all concrete washout waste. The bag is simply placed under the chute or hopper and the slurry is contained in the plastic/polyethylene inner liner in the bag.
When the concrete is set, the bag is forkliftable with built in loops for safe and easy transportation to an offsite location. All bags are fully tested and compliant with Australian Standard AS3668-1989 and have safe working loads listed below.
Once set, the Concrete Washout Bag and its contents creates a versatile secondary product to use for car park walls, low retaining walls or designated compounds. The bags are perfect for use in applications such as Civil Construction, Road Construction & Commercial Construction.

Stratex silt socks are filled with a large diameter gravel or rock such as scoria to allow easy flow of water through the sock, capturing the silt and dirt sediment. The socks are placed in and around storm water drains and gutters to protect our natural waterways. They can also prevent loose topsoil washing away in heavy rains. The silt sock can be used on unsealed or sealed surfaces, such as concrete and bitumen. Comes with a tie strap to allow efficient tie-off after filling.

Stratex Coir Fibre Logs are made from natural coconut fibre bound by a 100% biodegradable coir fibre netting. Wooden stake installation is quick and easy with pre-drilled holes. MANUAL HANDLING RISKS WITH COIR LOGS
Most Coir Logs available on the Australian market are 300mm in diameter and 3m long, weighing on average around 21kg. They are heavy, extremely cumbersome and more often than not a two man job to unload and install on site.
Given their length and the fact that they are over 20kg, they increase the risk of manual handling injury to operators.
Stratex Coir Logs are 200mm diameter and 2.4m in length and weigh less than 12kg allowing safe handling by an individual operator.
This unique sizing not only provides the benefit of lower freight cost to site, but more importantly are a safer and easier product to install.
SEDIMENT CONTROL SILT FENCE
Stratex Silt Fence is made from heavy duty UV-resistant silt mesh and are designed to reduce soil sediment runoff from building sites. It allows water to filter through the fabric, while suspending soil particles that settle to the ground.
IDEAL USAGE
The silt fence is supported by hardwood stakes and is used to surround construction sites and soil stockpiles. This prevents sediment flowing offsite and entering rivers, stormwater drains and sensitive environments.

1. Dig 150mm deep trench along the intended fence line.
2. Drive stakes into the ground at 2.5m intervals on the front side of the trench.
3. Place Silt Fence on the uphill side.
4. Attach Silt fence to the stakes with staples or cable ties, ensuring the base of the fence is level with the bottom of the trench.
5. Back fill the trench with soil and compact.

SEDIMENT CONTROL SILT CURTAINS
Silt Curtains provide a waterborne barrier around waterfront civil construction projects, restricting damage from sediment runoff into waterways such as rivers, lakes and harbours. The Curtain is constructed from a PVC Coated top float chamber using oil resistant, crumble-proof foam blocks – this section is longitudinally reinforced with polyester webbing for extra strength.
A non-woven geotextile skirt below the float chamber restricts water flow and allows the suspended sediment to settle. A PVC Coated chain pocket is attached to the bottom of the geofabric skirt to provide sufficient ballast to keep it taut.

DEWATERING BAGS
Dewatering Bags, also known as Sediment Filter Bags, are perfect for pumping and filtering sediment laden water from construction sites. They provide a cost effective and simple method of removing silt and heavy particles from excavation water.
They feature a 100mm diameter hose inlet, and are manufactured from strong non-woven geotextile which allows water to filter freely through the bag while retaining solids. Conveniently designed to lie on a wooden pallet during the dewatering process. This allows them to be easily transported by forklift when full of silt.
The Silt and Hydrocarbon Filter Bags include an oil absorbent filtration media inside the geotextile bag. They are used to dewater an area containing both hydrocarbon and sediment contamination.

These Absorbent Pads repel water, meaning they are ideal for outdoor environments and when spills occur on waterways such as drains, ports, marinas, harbours, lakes and rivers. The hydrophobic (water repellent) absorbents will float even when fully saturated with oil.

The highly effective Mini Booms remove oil from water in your sump, pit, tank or bilge. Useful for long term deployment to absorb any hydrocarbons that enter drains. Supplied with a rope loop for easy attachment to drain grates, and recovery.
OIL & FUEL ABSORBENT SWEEP
Perfect for removing the final sheen from oil spills on water after the bulk clean-up has taken place. The Sweep is dragged over the surface of the water, and the highly absorbent fibres capture the remaining oil slick or sheen. 30 metres in length, the Oil & Fuel Sweep has a reinforced webbing fixed to the front edge to provide the strength required for the movement across the water without tearing.
ABSORBENT MARINE BOOM
Highly effective to contain oil spills in water applications such as streams, rivers and lakes, as well as wet weather situations, due to their ability to float even when they are saturated with oil. These spills could occur from generators or earth moving equipment working near water, or boats, barges and dredges.
Marine Booms can be linked together to form a longer barrier with their simple but strong clip locks, allowing rapid emergency response.
Booms are constructed with a strong mesh outer sleeve to resist snags and debris, and an internal rope for added strength when linked to other booms. This encases the absorbent filling made from premium meltblown polypropylene.
SPILLTRATION ABSORBENTS
Spilltration absorbents are the only absorbent material available designed to absorb oils and fuels in outdoor wet environments such as high rainfall and water run-off. They are engineered to allow clean rainwater to filter through while absorbing and containing oil-based leaks and drips such as fuels, lubricant, solvent and transmission fluid spills.
