Código Postal 4 propone un mapeado de territorios de inclusión/ exclusión, una geografía de la ciudad en la que los dispositivos de habitabilidad se muestran como proyección de la evolución urbana. Imágenes compuestas de fotografías documentales de hogares temporales y los planos de viviendas, infraestructuras o calles donde fueron tomadas las fotografías, que plantean la dualidad dentro/fuera desde varias perspectivas: •Intimidad/Extimidad: la creación de lugares efímeros de privacidad en espacios públicos remite a los cuerpos y las prácticas de control en el espacio urbano. •Ciudadanía/Segregación: el código postal, herramienta imprescindible de acceso a la condición de habitante de la ciudad, expresa la privatización del espacio y la creación de exclusión. •Espacialidad/Virtualidad: el confrontado al signo (el plano).

Postcode 4 propose a mapping of inclusion/exclusion territories, a geography of the city in which the habitability units are shown as a projection of the urban development. Images made of documentary photographs of temporary homes and drawings and maps from the buildings, places and/or streets where those photographs were taken; images that present the duality in/out from various perspectives: •Intimacy/Extimacy: the establishment of temporary shelters that provide a very fragile privacy in public spaces relates to the bodies and control practices in the urban space. •Citizenship/Segregation: the postcode, an essential tool to get access to the condition of inhabitant/resident, expresses the privatization of the public space and the creation of social exclusion. •Spatiality/Virtualization: the dematerialised home is confronted with the sign (the drawing/map) The project Postcode is a work in progress initiated in 2012 that researches into the reality and fiction of the discourse produced by the post-capitalist societies. igor calvo - bio Igor Calvo encuentra en el entorno urbano la clave y la base de su trabajo fotográfico, centrándose en los procesos de transformación del individuo/ciudadano en mero objeto de producción/consumo y en la inmensa brecha que separa la producción de discurso y la realidad.
Igor Calvo finds in the modern urban environment the key and basis of his photographic work, focusing in the process of transformation of citizens/individuals into a mere object of production/consumption and in the huge gap between the discourse and the actual reality.
Complementa su formación autodidacta con los talleres que realiza en el Museo de BB.AA. de Bilbao o en la Tate Modern de Londres. Su salto a las exposiciones lo realiza en el año 2009 en Madrid. Entre los años 2010-2014 es fotógrafo residente de la Galería Phake. Período en el que colabora en el desarrollo de dispositivos y estrategias en exposiciones expandidas.
Complements his self-taught photographic education with several workshops at the Tate Modern and Bilbao Fine Arts Museum. It is not until 2009 that he gives the final jump to exhibitions in Madrid.
Como miembro fundador de Colectivo Komite ha organizado proyectos de arte colaborativo, certámenes fotográficos, e-zines, instalaciones y trabajos en vídeo; además de desarrollar y participar en múltiples intervenciones urbanas.
As a foundational member of Colectivo Komite, he has organized projects of collaborative art, photographic contests, e-zines, installations and video works, as well as developed and participated in many urban interventions.
From 2010 to 2014 is photographer-in-residence at Phake Gallery, in which period he contributes to the development of mechanisms and strategies at expanded exhibitions.
