2P Musical Connections

It was such a pleasure to take 2P to meet the Honeysuckle Singers on Wednesday as part of the Musical Connections project.

They very quickly settled into the session and happily spoke to the members of the group with confidence and lots of smiles! The conversations quickly became animated and it was so lovely to see the older members of our community engaging with our pupils.

Everyone enjoyed some balloon drumming and playing with the parachute, as well as singing lots of different songs!

Well done 2P for bringing so much joy to the Honeysuckle Singers!

Concerts Dates for May

Year 1 - on Monday 22nd May at 2pm we will be holding a concert for parents. All Year 1 children will be taking part either singing or playing their recorder if they have lessons with Ms Leaman-Brown. For our instrumentalists it will be their very first concert performing in front of an audience so I am sure the children will be very excited. We look forward to welcoming you into school!

Year 2 - on Tuesday 23rd May at 1.30pm we will be holding a concert for our Year 2 instrumentalists. If your child has instrumental lessons in school and you would like them to perform in the concert, please can you email me a.hayden@stpetersyork.org.uk so I can pop them on my list?

Our choir will also be performing at this concert too and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you into school.

Year 3 - on Wednesday 24th May at 1.30pm we will be holding a concert for our Year 3 instrumentalists. If your child has instrumental lessons in school and you would like them to perform in the concert, please can you email me a.hayden@stpetersyork.org.uk so I can pop them on my list?
