Alex Tyler has been completing work experience in Nursery and she will become a teaching assistant in Nursery (Acorns) until the end of the Summer Term and once again I know she will be an amazing addition to our wonderful Nursery team. This week we hosted Parent consultations with all teachers, I hope you have found these productive. One of this week’s highlights has been the House Football competition, with Year 2 and Year 3 playing against each other within their year group bubbles. We observed a minute’s silence at 12 noon on Tuesday to recognise the National Day of Reflection after a year since the first lockdown announced by our Prime Minister. What a year it has been! This term has been extraordinary,
commitment and positivity to prepare, preserve and deliver as much of St Peter’s in different ways has been astonishing. These words are not said lightly and we are incredibly lucky to have them teaching and looking after our children. I am so proud of our children who constantly display incredible resilience throughout the past twelve months. They continue to adapt to the changes presented to them always with a smile on their face. Finally, can I thank you- the parents, grandparents, guardians and friends of the schoolfor your constant support. Your letters, emails and thoughtful gifts to staff have kept us all going through this difficult time and is very much appreciated by all. I hope you have a wonderful Easter Holiday, a time to spend with family and friends when we are able to do so.
