A message from Ms Troy

I write this short note as we close St Paul’s for the summer holidays this year. It seems no length of time since last summer. I hope you will get a real sense of all that has been happening as you read through this newsletter. It has been a very busy year as we emerged from the restrictions imposed by Covid-19, and outings and visitors to the school resumed. There were trips abroad – to France and Italy. There were trips to other parts of Ireland, and trips closer to home, in Dublin. We had many speakers in to the school during the course of the year. All of these broaden the experience of the girls, and I am delighted that these activities can happen once again.

I would like to thank the teachers and SNAs who facilitated the many activities this year, and for their dedication to ensuring that your daughters have a positive school experience. We look forward to many new positive experiences next year. The opening of our new class for students with autism will add a new dimension to St Paul’s and I am delighted that building works in that area are due to start now, once the state examinations have finished.

Thank you for your support during the past year. The Parents’ Association is a wonderfully positive group, and they provide much appreciated support at all of our in-house meetings and events. Please support them in any way you can – they are always looking for new members and volunteers.

I wish you all well during the summer holidays. I hope you will all manage some break from the busy lives we all live now. The 6th year students leave us to embark on the next stage of their lives, but I look forward to welcoming the rest of our students back, and our new students, towards the end of August.
