We are seeking an experienced current or former HR professio join our Board. We currently have eleven board member experience across Housing, Development, Finance, Legal Se Governance, Support, Social Care, Organisational Develop Health, Local Government, Education, Training and HR.
Your HR expertise will add to the diverse knowledge, skil experience of our Board; helping us attract, develop, and reta talent, whilst ensuring that Stori continues to be a great pl work for great people.
You’ll be joining an organisation driven by its values; committed to providing safe homes and supporting peo develop their knowledge and skills to build a brighter future.
As part of our Board you will be key in:
Development of recruitment, retention, and develo strategies
Championing equality, diversity, and inclusion withi association
Ensuring compliance with employment legislation and HR practice
Contributing to board discussions and decision-making


Ability to advise on workforce planning, talent management, Employment Law, organisational development and HR Best Practice.

Ability to support the organisation through transitions include TUPE, restructures, or cultural change.
Communication & Leadership Skills
Strong interpersonal and advisory skills to influence board decisions.

Education, Skills and Experience
CIPD Level 7 or equivalent relevant qualification
Experience of working at a strategic level of HR

Our services always focus on empowering people to live as safely and as well as possible, whatever their personal circumstances.
This may be through supporting people one to one, educating and training others to do the same – even helping children understand how to build positive, happy relationships in life, through our work in schools. Here are what we do, day in day out.
We are a social landlord registered with the Welsh Government. We work across most of Wales delivering housing and specialist support to vulnerable people.
We have extensive knowledge and experience of delivering housing-related support services across Wales. We believe that people have the right to aspire to safe, independent lives within their communities.
We work with children, young people, and adults to help their understanding of what’s okay and what’s not, raising awareness of violence against women, domestic abuse, and sexual violence (VAWDASV).
