The Joy and Wonder of Learning Awards recognition We were delighted to be shortlisted for the 2023 Independent Prep School of the Year award. We have also been highly commended by lifestyle website, Muddy Stilettos for our School Spirit and Performing Arts as part of their 2023 Best Schools Awards.
Science championships We are very proud of our St Michael’s scientists who competed in the Finals of the National Science Quiz Club Championships at Oxford University. The competition was fierce, with schools from across the UK taking part; we were thrilled to be awarded 16th place.
Innovative learning Vibrant lessons have brought learning to life for our pupils this year ranging from bug hunts in our woodlands to taking part in the Hindu Festival of Colour, Holi. Egyptian, Victorian, Roman and Rock Days have also immersed our pupils in their curriculums with costumes, creative activities and interactive role play.
Sporting success Our sports teams have achieved a series of national, regional and county success this year including becoming IAPS National Swimming and Athletics Finalists, IAPS U11 National Girls’ Hardball Cricket Champions and U13 County, U11 Kent, U11 Regional and U11 National Champions for Girls’ Hockey.
