In 1881, God gave a small group of miners a mission to bring to these mountains the world’s greatest treasure: the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, the Eucharist, and the Faith and Charity that flow from Him.
Today, that mission has spread from the streets of Old Town Park City, to the meadows of White Pine Canyon, to the Heber Valley and beyond. St. Mary’s seeks to evangelize, catechize, give back in Charity, and enrich the community through the Catholic Faith and its intellectual, artistic, and cultural traditions. To bring all the treasure of Jesus Christ, for the salvation of souls, and the Greater Glory of God!

Do you wish to cultivate a devotion to the Holy Rosary? Join St. Mary’s for a weekly recitation of the Rosary during this special month of Mary, every Sunday before Mass.
The weekly prayers will be led by fellow parishioners and participants will have the opportunity to pick up holy cards and materials about the 15 Promises of Our Lady to those who pray the Rosary.
We hope that you can join us! Rosaries will begin every Saturday and Sunday 23 minutes before Mass and all parishioners are encouraged to join.
“
I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.
”

Whether you live in Summit county, Wasatch county, or beyond...
Whether you’re interested in intellectual and spiritual growth, service to others, fellowship or recreation, forming community where you live, or more...
Whether you want to meet at the church, your home, or somewhere else... St. Mary’s & St. Lawrence want to help you grow and connect!
We’re looking for volunteers to host and/or lead a small group. It can be a monthly or a weekly gathering, and it can take place at the Church, in a home, at a café, etc. Whether it’s studying Scripture, praying together, or discussing a particular topic, small groups are an impactful way to form both faith and relationships in an intimate environment outside of Mass.
No matter which parish or Mass you attend, small groups provide a rich opportunity to build relationships with Catholics in your neighborhood. To see which groups are already up and running, or to get more information about hosting/leading a small group, scan the QR code or visit StMarysParkCity.com/Groups.

THURSDAY, MAY 23, AT 6:30 PM
W.H. Vanstone wrote that “waiting can be the most intense and poignant of all human experiences.” We’ve all waited in our own ways — through periods of discernment, infertility, illness, grief — and these times can be grueling and difficult. But what if we saw our times of waiting as an opportunity to grow into a more mature faith?
In this talk, we’ll look at our tendency toward “acedia” historically and in modern-day life; discuss the difference between active and passive waiting; and you’ll leave with an understanding of the spiritual benefits of patience.

Dear sweet Jesus, I kneel before you and give you thanks for the great treasure of the Most Blessed Sacrament. May it nourish me with a lively faith and with true repentance. May your cross be my strength, your resurrection be my life, and your grace be my sure confidence. With the Father and the Holy Spirit, your love is the full satisfaction of my desire, my refreshment, and my own love. May you be glorified in all things everywhere and may your peace be the joy of all people. Amen.
