Spectacular Spaces for your event

St Martin’s sits right in the heart of London and boasts some of the most unusual and spectacular spaces in which to hold events. Whether it be corporate parties, brand activations, private celebrations, film location work, West End opening night parties, product launches, meetings, training sessions and more, we can accommodate you across a variety of interesting and memorable spaces.

Our flagship space is the stunning Crypt and Gallery which can hold up to 500 people. Vaulted brickwork ceilings and versatile lighting make the Crypt an in-demand venue for parties and events. Our large Hall can hold up to 120 for theatre style events whilst our outdoor Courtyard is perfect for parties. Our suite of smaller meeting rooms are perfect for Board or other group meetings.

We are perfectly positioned near Charing Cross and other key West End train and Underground stations, and we have a late licence so you can party into the early hours. Our in-house catering team can deliver exquisite fine dining packages or spectacular catering for larger numbers – all within a range of costs to suit your budget – and we can source entertainment for your event should you need us to.

We have a dedicated professional events team who will work with you every step of the way to make your event the most memorable it can be.

And, by holding your event with us at St Martin’s, you can also feel good by knowing that you are giving something back by indirectly helping us to continue our work with communities and the homeless in London.

The Crypt

The Crypt is our most exclusive space. There is nothing quite like it in London and the open layout and large capacity (up to 500 standing) makes it the perfect location for receptions, dinners and networking events.

We’ve played host to major opening night parties for the stars, film crews using it as a distinctive location backdrop in major movies, themed parties, wedding receptions, fashion shows and more. With infinitely flexible ways to dress the space, and full hospitality services to cater for your guests, the Crypt can be transformed to suit any number of requirements.

The Gallery

With the same stunning architecture as the main Crypt, the Gallery can hold up to 120 people standing and can be entirely self-contained or used in conjunction with the main Crypt. The space has access to its own toilet facilities and can be configured for receptions or seated dinners. There’s even a hidden corridor of interesting historical artefacts for your guests to explore if they so wished!

As with the Crypt, full catering and bar options can be provided.

St Martin’s Hall and The Lightwell

Contemporary design and flexibility make St Martin’s Hall a stunning setting for events from conferences, lectures, training, receptions and seated dinners. We have also held cultural rehearsals in the space, from West End shows to chamber orchestras.

The adjoining modern Lightwell provides natural light and acts as an additional breakout or catering space with distinctive and unusual views into the London skyline.

The Hall is equipped with an in-ceiling projector screen and AV equipment, and has its own private access and toilet facilities. The space can be booked alongside smaller meeting rooms if further breakout spaces are required.

Smaller Meeting Spaces

We also offer spaces ideal for small group or Board meetings. With full AV facilities, our two air conditioned rooms can be catered to your needs and we can provide those essential extras such as flipcharts and all important post-it notes!

Our Tutu Room can hold 24 people around a bespoke Board table, and the Benenson Room (see inset) can comfortably hold 8 people.

The Courtyard

Hidden out of the glare of its busy surroundings, the Courtyard at St Martin’s is the perfect location for a party. With its own bar and the ability to provide additional equipment to transform the space, the Courtyard has played host to wedding receptions, brand activations and product launches, live music events, an outdoor Winter ‘hygge’ style bar and more. Catering to the space can easily be provided from our kitchens.

Catering

We have a talented team of chefs who can create the perfect menu for your occasion using fresh, seasonal ingredients. We are passionate about the quality of our food and our approach to the responsible and sustainable sourcing of it. We can create menus to accommodate special dietary needs, and we will gladly arrange for menu and drinks tastings sessions where you can meet our Head Chef to discuss your needs and ensure everything is as you want it to be. We can work within a range of per-head budgets to suit you, and will make suggestions to ensure you get a balanced catering offer.

We can provide a range of refreshments from bespoke cocktails to a dedicated wine list to pair your event and food choices. We can run a pre-pay bar or pay on demand and we have a late licence until 3am.
