Puppet Story Time

Tuesday Turtles or Wednesday Whirligigs

ALL AGES

AGES 4 – 5 (DROP-OFF PROGRAM) Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Tuesday Turtles and Wednesday Whirligigs will explore and discover the world outside while on naturalist-led hikes. We’ll listen to nature stories, create crafts, play games and laugh with our famous puppets. Each class dives into a different nature topic. There are three sessions, and each session has either three or four classes. Feel free to sign up for one or more monthly sessions. Choose either Tuesday or Wednesday (but not both) within each month.

CHILDREN AGES 2+ MUST PAY AND BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PAID ADULT

Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave. Laugh out loud as the Westwood puppets tell a story in their animated comical style. Begin with open play and exploration. Naturalists will lead activities that highlight the story and create memories for you and your youngest family members. There will also be a chance to go outside on a hike.

Take a tour of this net zero energydesigned facility and explore the new interpretive center exhibits created for all ages. Enjoy live animal programs, puppet shows and more. Note: Due to COVID-19 concerns, shuttle buses won't be available for this event.
