The Main Gate is open between 7.45 to 5pm and is manned by Security throughout the day. Access is with personal ID cards.

Mobile Device Policy
Summary of policy is here:
The use of mobile phones by pupils during the school day is not permitted.
Where a pupil brings a mobile phone to school, the phone must be:
Turned off before entering the school site.
Stored in the student’s locker (preferred option) or in their school bag.
Students are not permitted to carry a mobile phone on their person (hand or pockets) at any point during the school day.
Switched off and stored until the end of the school day at 4.00 pm. After this time, students will be permitted to use their phones on site.
Out of sight always during the school day.
Organisational Tools
At the beginning of term all students will be shown how to use our digital tools to organise their work.
This will involve:
Google Classroom
Google Classroom To Do lists where you can see a full list of all assignments and homework that need doing.
Google Tasks
Using Google Tasks to keep track of what you need to do.
Google Calendar
Using Google calendar to view all assignments from Classroom and Tasks so you can see at a glance what you have to do during the week.
If you are going to be absent please make sure to ask your parent/ guardian to send an email to your tutor and the secondary office or call the secondary school office.
