Directors’ Declaration Under the Charitable Fundraising Act

In the opinion of the Directors of St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) and its controlled entity (the "Group"): i) The consolidated financial statements and notes thereto give a true and fair view of all income and expenditure with respect to fundraising appeals conducted by the organisation for the year ended 31 December 2022; ii) The statement of financial position as at 31 December 2022 give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the Group with respect to fundraising appeals conducted by the organisation; iii) The provisions of the Charitable Fundraising Act 1991(NSW) and Charitable Fundraising Act 2021(NSW), the regulations under that Act, and the conditions attached to the authority to fundraise have been complied with by the organisation; and iv) The internal controls exercised by the Group are appropriate and effective in accounting for all income received and applied by the organisation from any of its fundraising appeals. This declaration is made in accordance with a resolution of the Board of Directors.
