DIRECTORS’ REMUNERATION

In accordance with the Group’s Constitution (Item 10.16), a Director is not to be paid fees for acting as such except payment or reimbursement of reasonable disbursements relating to the business and activities of the Group or reasonable fees for professional or technical services to the Group previously approved by the Board. Purchases of first aid kits amounting to $368 (2021: $nil) were made by Directors during the financial year on normal commercial terms. There were no other related party transactions during the financial year.

Note 22 Limitation of Member's Liability

The Group is registered as a Company limited by guarantee, and in accordance with the Constitution the liability of members of the Group in the event of the Company being wound up would not exceed $1.00 per member.

The number of active members of St John Ambulance Australia (NSW) “the Organisation” at 31 December 2022 was 2,776 (2021: 2,718).

At 31 December 2022, applications had been received and approved from 427 members (2021: 493) of the Organisation to become members of the Group.
