Mrs. Mary Alice O’Malley is a proud St. Joseph Hill Academy “lifer”, ES ’56, HS ’60, and a 1963 graduate of the St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing in Manhattan, where she earned her degree as a Registered Nurse. Years later in 2000, Mrs. O’Malley earned the prestigious Angelus Award from St. Vincent’s Hospital in recognition of her years of dedication to healthcare.
Mrs. O’Malley has also served on the boards of several medical, educational and charitable organizations. Committed to healthcare improvement, she served on the Children’s Research Institute Board of the National Children’s Medical Center in Washington, DC from 2004-2006. Dedicated to her alma mater, the St. Vincent’s School of Nursing, Mrs. O’Malley is the first alumna to serve as a member of the St. Vincent’s Hospital Board of Trustees, as well as a member of the Mission Committee, and Co-Chairperson of St. Vincent’s Capital Campaign. Ms. O’Malley volunteered at Greenwich Hospital’s Hospice program and was a long-time volunteer at Call-aRide. Mrs. O’Malley was also the former chair of the National Urea Cycle Disorder Foundation. She has served on the board of Hill House as well as the Parish Council of St. Catherine of Siena, where she has also been a eucharistic minister.

Mrs. O’Malley knows the importance of giving back and providing support to a new generation of young women who are attending her alma mater. In recognition of Hill’s Centennial year, Mrs. O’Malley provided an extraordinarily generous and transformative donation that remains the largest gift from an alumna in Hill’s 100+ year history. The Mary Lucey O’Malley Scholarship Program, offered to entering Freshmen who are the daughters of registered nurses and/or first responders, is presented to three students annually.
Mrs. O’Malley been married to Thomas D. O’Malley, a graduate of St. Peter’s High School and Manhattan College, for 60 years. They are proud parents of four adult children and grandparents of 12. Mr. and Mrs. O’Malley have been ardent supporters of a number of charitable causes and have demonstrated a steadfast commitment to ensuring the success of organizations that provide quality Catholic education.
Jeanine Khoury HS ’78
Ms. Khoury is a St. Joseph Hill Academy High School graduate from the class of 1978. While at Hill, you would often find her with a camera around her neck, shooting pictures for the Hilltopper, behind the scenes for Hill's annual HS musical, or on the sidelines doing stats for the sports teams. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester in Psychology and Biology in 1982 and went on to earn a Certificate in Financial Management from the American Institute of Banking and her Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University while working full time.
Highly successful in her 40+ year career in Financial Services, Ms. Khoury recently retired as a Managing Director for Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), one of the oldest and largest Private Investment and Wealth Management Banks, where she led strategic initiatives for Business and Process Transformation. Prior to working at BBH, Ms. Khoury spent 26 years in various management positions with JPMorgan Chase. Her areas of focus included Financial Controllership, Cash & Securities Product Management, Corporate Sales Support, Process Redesign and Controls and Program Mangement for large technology transformation initiatives.
Jeanine Khoury HS ’78
An avid volunteer, her service includes membership in Women United, a leadership committee of the United Way of NYC, where she served as co-chair from 2017 - 2021, and Rock the Street, Wall Street, a financial and investment literacy program designed to spark the interest of a diverse population of high school girls into careers of finance. Loyal to her college Alma mater, the University of Rochester, Ms. Khoury is a founding member of the George Eastman Circle, a member of the University’s Volunteer Leaders Council and Meliora Collective Mentorship Program. Ms. Khoury stays engaged by co-chairing her Class' College Reunion Committee over the years and recently was invited to become a member of the University's Alumni Board.
In addition to mentoring young leaders, Ms. Khoury is passionate about tennis, hiking, and travel. You can often find her playing a match at CSI, or on the clay courts of Westerleigh where she also serves on the Board. Ms. Khoury established the Jeanine R. Khoury in 2019 and she initiated the Sr. M. Charlotte Gulban, F.D.C. scholarship in December 2020.
Jeanine and John Tardy
Jeanine and John Tardy are the proud grandparents of St. Joseph Hill Academy students, CJ and Nico Tardy, who are currently in 1st and 4th Grade. They are the parents of three sons John, Vincent, and Nicholas, thus the name of their company, JVN Restoration Inc. Mr. and Mrs. Tardy also have three beautiful daughters-in- law: Kelly, Briana and Maria.
Jeanine and John have been married for 38 years, 23 of which they have worked together to build and develop JVN Restoration into one of the largest Environmental Companies in New York City. Through all the years, they have tried their best to always give back to the community because they believe that Karma has a lot to do with success.
Jeanine and John have served on numerous boards/committees which include; The Environmental Contractors Association, SIUH/Northwell Health, the St. George Theatre, Integrated Charter Schools, as well as the SIEDC, to name a few. They both hope to continue to grow and give back to the community as long as they can and are very thankful for the recognition.
