Overview

We award a number of scholarships every year* ranging from $4000 to the equivalent of half the annual college fee Scholarships are awarded to successful applicants on a range of criteria, especially with financial needs and the likely contributions the student can make to the College.

All of our scholarship offerings are split over the two semesters of the year for equal amounts each semester with the understanding that a recipient stays at college for the full academic year In the event of a student leaving the college mid-year, including for the purpose of an exchange program, St Hilda’s will reserve the right to redirect the remaining scholarship funds to another student.

Once your intercollegiate application form has been received, you will be sent an individualised link that allows you to apply for scholarships. If you have any questions, please email the Admissions Team at St Hilda’s College using the admissions@hildas.unimelb.edu.au email address.

We have a variety of different scholarship categories Our two main types are categorised as Needs-Based Access Scholarships and Academic Excellence & Leadership Scholarships. We also have a small number of Industry Partnerships available as well as links with several established educational foundations.

We would like to acknowledge and thank all those members of our community who help support our scholarship fund. Their generosity ensures that we are able to provide some level of financial assistance each year to at least 40% of our students so that they can take advantage of the transformative experience that comes with living at a residential college
