Investigating the health and wellbeing impacts of museum and gallery activities for people living with dementia, stroke survivors, and mental health service users.
We are delighted to present our final report, which includes an overview of the project and the partners, as well as summaries of the key findings.
The report also shares best practice in terms of developing these programmes from the perspectives of museum professionals and health and social care partners. The current situation in health and social care requires new approaches and museums and art galleries have a potential role to play in the future landscapes of social prescribing and care in the community. We hope this research report offers both practical directions and inspiration in terms of programmes design and evaluation.
