The Johnson High School is an individual project with the objective of remodeling the existing Western MallinSiouxFalls,SD.Theobjectivebehindtheprojectistodesignanew,315,000squarefoothighschool, for 2,000 students that is inclusive to all students, staff, and visitors. This project also aimed to be a sustainabledesignthatrepurposedasmuchoftheexistingbuildingaspossible.

TheBrookingsPublicLibraryisagroupprojectwithanobjectiveofdesigninganewpubliclibraryforthe cityofBrookings,SD.Thenewlibraryisdesignedtoreplacethecurrentlibraryonthesamesite.Theclient requested the library be built for the year 2100 and still have historical ties to the surrounding historic district.

The Kayak Kruise is an individual, four-week design charrette. With such a short time period to work on this project, decisions needed to be made rapidly. The objective of this project is to rapidly design a kayakrentalandguidebuildingwithadocktoservefoodonthewater.Thesiteassignedtothisproject provedtobeverydifficulttoworkwithaswell.Therewasa25-footelevationchangeonasmallsite,and thedockonthewaterneedstobeADAaccessible.TheKayakKruiseusesasystemwherethevisitorwill loadintothekayakatthesameelevationofthemainbuildingandridedownasystemofrollerstothe water.TheADArampfollowsthesamepathasthekayaklaunch.

TheHosannaLutheranChurchadditionisapredesignprojectIworkedonasanAssociateArchitect.The churchlocatedinMankato,Minnesotaisgrowingrapidlyandneedsmoreroomtocontinuegrowing.The addition includes a new welcome area, gym/fellowship area, youth room, more classrooms, as well as additionalparking.
