SD/HD 4 x AES Audio Embedder Description
The P MX 3264 is a versatile multiformat audio embedder which accepts 4 x AES inputs, which can be either balanced AES3 or unbalanced AES3id signals. The SDI Input video standard (and format) is automatically detected. Each AES input is isolated (transformer coupled) and has a selectable sample rate converter, which can be bypassed for DolbyE or any other encoded audio format compliance. 16 audio channels for embedding. Any existing embedded audio can be replaced, deleted or passed transparently through the embedder. 4 x SDI outputs are provided with embedded audio, if the embedder is not being used, then the module also serves as a 1 > 4 multiformat re-clocking distribution amplifier. Microprocessor control and on board Flash RAM enable configurations and settings to be stored within the module.
