Hi! I'm a seahorse. Did you know that I am actually a fish? I propel myself through the water by using a small fin on my back. It can flutter up to 35 times a second! I also like to hang onto seaweeds and coral with my curly tail. To hide from predators, I can change my body color to match my surroundings. I am like an underwater chameleon!

Hello there! I'm an octopus. I'm all arms and brains! Actually, Most of my brain is located in my arms. In fact, my arms are so smart, they can even think on their own! I can use coconut shells, and other things I find to hide in for protection. When I swim away from a predator, I squirt a cloud of poisonous icky black ink to escape!

Hey there! I'm a clown fish. My friend is actually my house—a stinging house. Can you guess who my friend is? My friend is the sea anemone, but it doesn't sting me! I live in the anemone's tentacles, and eat the leftover bits from it's meals. Sometimes I swim out of the anemone to attract a bigger fish. When the fish sees me, it chases me back to the anemone, only to become our next meal. My friend is the coolest friend in the whole ocean.

We live in a big family called a pod. Pods can have up to 100 dolphins living together! We dolphins have a special language and even give each other names. We use echolocation to find our food. Our sounds bounce off fish, and our teeth can sense the echoes that come back to us. Did you know that no dolphin looks the same? Each of us have different makings that make us unique and special!

Greetings! We are dolphins.

What's up? I'm a sea turtle. I live in the sea because I love to swim! Did you know that I can dive up to 4,000 feet deep? I even sleep underwater and can hold my breath for many hours! When I get tired of swimming, I like to relax on the beach under the warm sun. Unlike turtles on land, I can't hide in my shell. My shell still protects me though. It even makes me a graceful swimmer!

Good day! I'm a manta ray.
I'm a calm fish. I love to cruise around the open ocean! As I glide, I like to open my mouth wide and grab a snack. My favorite food are tiny creatures called plankton. Plankton are so small that you may need a microscope to see them with detail!
Sometimes, I swim into shallow water to get a free cleaning from my many fishy friends. I just sit there and relax while my friends eat smaller unwanted guests off my skin.

Hi-fives! I'm a sea star!

I have five arms, but some of my cousins can have up to 40 arms!
Though I might not look like it, I actually have eyes. My very small eyes are located on the ends of each of my feet. Under my feet, I have lots of tiny little legs that help me move. When I eat, I can bring my stomach outside of my body to digest my food!
