What is that, in the sky?
What do you think is floating by?
A parachute! That’s what it’s called!
Drifting down—so big, so tall!
Floating, falling, way up high, Like a feather in the sky!
But how does it stop the fall?
Slowing you down—no crash at all!
Why does it fall slow? Let’s stop and see.
The wide, light parachute catches the air, so light and free!
It floats, and floats, and floats some more. Helping us float, helping us soar.
