But her stinging tentacles keep them far away.

“I wish I could explore the ocean, but I don’t have fins or feet,” says Ann-Nem-Oh-Nee sadly.
Then she sees a hermit crab scuttling underwater.
“Save me!” he cries. That fish wants to pluck me out of my shell!

Ann-Nem-Oh-Nee hides the hermit crab behind her stingy tentacles.

The fish swims away. “Thank you, ” says Herman the hermit crab, “All I have is this shell, and it’s a little too big.”
“I have an idea for you, my friend!” says Herman the hermit crab.

Herman took Ann-Nem-Oh-Nee by the tentacle and danced around her making silly faces.

Ann-Nem-Oh-Nee laughed so hard she popped right off her rock!

Herman gently picked her up and put her on his shell. “Are you ready? I feel an adventure coming on, ” he said.

Ann-Nem-Oh-Nee

never, ever feels lonely.
