Flexi boarding has been a fantastic option for our family It gives our child a bit more independence in a supportive environment, and they genuinely enjoy staying over with friends. It’s made the transition to Senior School so much smoother

2 The Head of School House, Mrs Stone will provide you will an application form allowing you to select your package - Single (1 night per term), Double (2 nights per term) or Triple (3 nights per term) and the day/s your child would like to board.
3. Admissions will process your application and send out all relevant information Please note: you will need to select the day or days in question prior to the beginning of term. Changes to those days are not encouraged due potential disruptions.


James has been part of the St Edmund’s community since 2008, with a background in Biology teaching and extensive pastoral experience. Formerly Housemaster of Baker House, he brings warmth, empathy and a deep understanding of boarding life to his role as Director of Boarding James, along with his wife Harriet, is committed to creating a supportive and enriching experience for all boarders
Lucy has been part of the St Edmund’s community for over 10 years and has led Girls’ Boarding for the past four As both Head of Girls’ Boarding and an Outdoor Education teacher, Lucy is passionate about supporting pupils’ wellbeing and personal growth She brings energy, care and a strong sense of community to the boarding houses, helping girls thrive both in and out of the classroom
