Steadfast City took an executive leadership role in the analysis, negotiation, and implementation of economic development incentives for Imperial Dade’s new 409,014 SF facility, including tax abatements totaling over $8 million. The project included the consolidation of 320,000 SF of existing space and the relocation of 80,000 SF of space from Kansas City, MO to the St Louis, MO region Imperial Dade is an independently owned and operated distributor of foodservice packaging, facilities maintenance supplies, floor equipment, and industrial packaging They are a titan of their industry with locations throughout the United States and Canada

Steadfast Citys leadership team has been navigating the New Market’s world since 2010 and has successfully acquired allocation across several client projects, including impactful investment in healthcare, multi-family residential, and YMCA-centered development projects.
Specifically for the YMCA of Memphis, the NMTCs were the critical component of gap financing for the new $12MM facility in the Whitehaven neighborhood The team at Steadfast began by analyzing low-income community impacts/data and creating a comprehensive pitch deck targeting CDEs and investors We completed investor intake forms on behalf of our client, met with qualified CDEs, advised on additional financing sources, managed the closing process and assisted with NMTC compliance
New Market Tax Credits
The Leadership Council of Southwestern Illinois is an organization dedicated to fostering economic growth in a 9-county region of Southwestern Illinois Steadfast City was enlisted to develop a plan for reinvigorating the Leadership Council’s strategic goals, with emphasis on the organization’s key mission of attracting residential, commercial and retail development, improving safety and education infrastructure, reforming tax and incentive structures, and developing government and community revitalization initiatives
In a three-month engagement, the Steadfast City team researched demographic, economic, workforce, and industry trends for the region, and assessed real estate/land availability to determine a baseline “state of the region” The Steadfast team then worked to gain a better understanding of existing conditions by conducting meetings with key regional economic development leaders and stakeholders. After synthesizing the qualitative and quantitative data, Steadfast created and presented strategic recommendations, including practical action items that the Leadership Council can use to drive their team’s goals and day-to-day work
