What the LRC can/cannot address from some of your feedback.

1.  We cannot increase opening hours with present stang levels, although we are opening at 8am - 4.15pm (4pm on Wednesdays) during the exam period.

2.  We are going to increase the book limit for students from 4-6 books and borrowing from 3-6 weeks as from September 2024

3 We have used all available electrical points near study tables and have no physical space to add anymore chargers. As for cables, we used to have device/phone cables to loan out, but we didn’t get any back

4.  We open all windows during the warm weather, but we could look at getting some fans.

5.  Unfortunately, due to shortage of computers, classes sometimes have to take place in the LRC, which of course can become noisy.  We do our best to keep noise levels down and always ask for teachers to remain with their students.

6 Unfortunately, we do not allow food to be consumed in the LRC due to the mess and smells food leaves behind. There is a canteen in the Manning Building where students can have something to eat

7.  The LRC is not responsible for managing or purchasing iPads or computers.

8 We have 2 shelves of revision books and have a wide variety of subject resources. If you don’t see something, check our catalogue or ask a member of the LRC sta.
