KARATE GRADING The grading examination will be taking place on Monday 19th during the usual training session beginning at 6.45 for everyone. This replaces the previously announced date of Saturday 17th which has had to be cancelled. Karate suits with the appropriate belts must be worn during the examination. Club members are encouraged to attend all classes until this date. The club will be closed on Dec 26th and Jan 2nd and will reopen on Jan 9th. OPERATION FREEZE KNEES You are invited to the Strand beach at 12.00 noon on Christmas Day for the Annual Fund Raiser, organized by Coleraine Hospice Support Group. We aim to break last year’s record of 50 brave souls. All funds raised will be used to help maintain the Home Care Nursing Service for local people with life threatening illnesses. STAR WOMEN’S GROUP. We would like to thank all who attended the party and helped to make the evening a great success. Thanks Supervalu, Tesco's, The Anchor Bar, Olivia Hayes, Inspirations, Maggie, and Nicola Magee for their generous contributions to our raffle, from which we raised £125 for Habitat. We would also like to thank Caoimhe Crerand, Stephen Og, Dearbhla, and Lorcan McMullen for their Outstanding Traditional Music, Lauren Young for her Champion Irish Dancing and Rosanna Morelli and Father Raymond for their Double award winning dance act which wowed the crowd. NATIVITY WINDOW & CAROL SINGING The Nativity Window this year will once again be in a prominent place on the Promenade.
