(RTE) At 11.0am next Sun 17th Jan the Down and Connor Folk Group will be providing music for the live studio broadcast Mass on RTE TV. All the music is composed by Mr Brendan Dowd and Fr Raymond McCullagh will be the celebrant. The congregation will be made up of young people under the direction of Living Youth as it will replace our monthly diocesan youth Mass. The broadcast will be available through RTE 1, RTE Digital, RTE Radio LW 252 and online at rte.ie

PORTSTEWART CHURCHES FRIENDSHIP GROUP The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 12th January at 7.30pm in the Marian Hall. CAUSEWAY COAST PEACE GROUP The next meeting is on Tuesday 12th January from 10-12noon in the Ramoan Centre, Ballycastle. Seven Causeway Coast and Glens councillors will be present to answer questions. This is a good opportunity to meet and hear what councillors are doing, particularly in terms of the council’s Good Relations Strategy. Everyone is very welcome. PARISH CENTENARY BOOK Celebrating 100 years of the church of St Mary’s, Star of the Sea, copies of the Centenary Book are now on sale in the Repository priced £5. Special centenary candles are also on sale for £1. The book has lots of old and new photographs, articles by parishioners, nuns and bishops. DOMINICAN COLLEGE PORTSTEWART OPEN NIGHTS Wed 13th & Thurs 14th January 2016 from 7 – 9pm Parents, P7 pupils and other prospective students are warmly invited. To help manage numbers, could those attending schools in the Coleraine or Ballymoney areas come on Wednesday and those from Portstewart, Portrush and all other areas on Thursday. We are happy to see you on either night if one night does not suit. The Principal will speak at 7pm, followed by a tour of the school to meet students and staff. An Information Day for Prospective Sixth Formers will be held on Fri 12th February 2016. JEFF CAVINS Jeff Cavins’ scripture course “A Quick Journey Through the Bible” will be presented in Ballymoney Parish Hall starting on Sunday night 31st Jan 2016 7.30pm – 9.00pm and continuing until the evening of Palm Sunday. The course is a mixture of DVD presentations by Jeff and small group discussion and has been organised and presented by members of the North Connor Pastoral Community Team (formerly PAT). Parishioners from all six parishes (including our own) are being invited. To give an idea of numbers please let the parish office know if you plan to attend. “THE PRIESTS” IN CONCERT Friday 12th February in the Diamond Hall on the University Campus at Coleraine. It is a fundraiser for Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School in Ballymoney. Tickets are £20 each and are available from the school. 2766 2050 PREPARING FOR MARRIAGE?
