Cardinia Shire Council has confirmed they're investigating a tragic dog attack on Windermere Boulevard in Pakenham which has left a beloved pet Dachshund dead. Kashila Chintamunnee took to social media in search of a woman whose dog allegedly killed her four-year-old pet, Coco on Tuesday 5 November, about 11am. "It was the most traumatic thing I've experienced in my entire life," Ms Chintamunnee told the media. In her Facebook post, which has since been
shared over 350,000 times, she said her dog had died following a fight with another dog, believed to be a Staffy. It's understood Ms Chintamunnee's dog wasn't on a leash when it ran up to the Staffy, who was walking on a lead at the time. CCTV footage shows a Labrador and two Dachshunds running over to the dog after allegedly escaping their property through an open gate. It's believed the woman walking the Staffy let go of the leash, lifting her son onto a picnic table for protection. Star News Group spoke with the husband of 12425088-FA36-19
