MESSAGE FROM ADMINISTRATION Dear STAOPCS Families, Tonight is the night and our Gala 2017, “There’s No Place Like Home” is here! Online bidding for the Silent Auction opened last week and will continue until this evening. We’re looking forward to welcoming and entertaining those who will be attending. Thanks in advance to those who have come together to make this year's Gala a success for our students and school. It promises to be one of the best yet!

Congratulations to our baseball team and their coaches on winning the 2017 GHCAA League Championship on Monday. They defeated St. Vincent de Paul 16-1 in three innings.

Way to go Dolphins! Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is May 1-5! We invite you to join us in showing our wonderful teachers and staff members how much we appreciate all they have done this year for our students, families and school. Look for more information in this Messenger with themes for the different days of the week and how we will be celebrating and showing our appreciation.

Our Discipleship message for the week is about sharing. At the heart of discipleship is the question of what God wants us to do with what He has given or blessed us with. We love the quote that says, “Life is God’s gift to you. What you do with your life is your Gift to God.” We are called to love God and to love others by responding to people we meet along the way as Jesus would have. There are many ways of responding to the needs of people we meet, not just with money, but also with our time, our skills and our knowledge. Each and every time we share the love of Jesus with someone else, we proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God. With the Gala tonight, we want to thank our families who share so generously of their time, talent and treasure to make our school great! We recognize that families share with us what God has blessed them with.

Thank you to the 52 families who completed our annual Family Survey this year. We will be utilizing the information gathered in the coming weeks as we continue to plan for next year and beyond. We’ll also be taking time to address some of the topics in upcoming issues of the Messenger. Please stay in touch as we have a lot to get done before summer break. We hope that the remainder of your Easter season is blessed and filled with renewed faith in the Resurrection and the risen life we receive in Baptism.
