Dolphin News Network (DNN) airs most Tuesdays at 8 a.m. in our classrooms—and parents are always welcome in our lobby to watch our students in action.

MESSAGE FROM ADMINISTRATION Dear School Families, We are always busy and there is always excitement on campus. Thanks to everyone who has participated in our annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. It is awesome to know that we have helped so many families during the holiday season. Do you know about Dolphin Donor Day? It’s new this year and a great opportunity to support The Fund for St. Anthony.

Look for more information in this edition of The Messenger. We have an awesome opportunity to Double Donations on Dolphin Donor Day – check it out!

There is always a lot of work going on as well. We are happy to report that construction is on schedule and each day we see more and more things take shape. The St. Therese of Calcutta Center, athletic fields and additional parking are all coming along nicely. Before you know it this part of our Parish Master Plan will be complete and we will be on to the next. We are also happy to report that our routine Archdiocesan audit is complete and our school passed with flying colors thanks to the organization, dedication and attention to detail of Mrs. Carson, Mrs. Russell and our office staff.

Our Discipleship message for the week asks the question, "Where is God?" The answer, of course, is everywhere. Because He is in our hearts, He goes with us everywhere we go, and He is there every time there is a problem or a challenge. It is comforting to remember that in the times when we are scared or worried God is there. He is there to protect us, to help us overcome our fears or conquer our worries. Trusting in God helps to take the worries away that clutter our minds. He can replace our worries with peace and joy. Giving Him our worries and problems makes time for us to do more of His work on earth as His disciples.

The holidays are coming and would be a great time to hand over our problems, worries and challenges to God and ask Him to show us what work we can do for Him this year.

We're all looking forward to our annual Saints Trivia Bee and Fall Book Fair next week along with our 4th & 5th grade program. The Book Fair will be open after Masses this weekend. We are looking forward to having everyone join us for Pastries with Parents next Friday, November 18th! Start in the Fellowship Hall for breakfast, walk your child to class and stay for morning announcements on DNN. We’re all getting excited about Thanksgiving break which will be followed by the start of Advent. We wish everyone a great and blessed week.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Why does carline get backed up?

Cars who turn left onto Bay Branch or Kuykendahl after drop–off tend to slow traffic flow down greatly. Please make an effort to turn right onto Bay Branch or Kuykendahl after drop–off to alleviate the back–up concerns.

Could the school organize a room with a babysitter where younger siblings could be dropped off and cared for so that parents could volunteer?

We recognize the value that being able to offer a service such as this would be. We want parent involvement and participation in day–to–day and special activities, events and programs. At this time, we do not have room available to set up a co–op

or babysitting service in the building as all of the rooms are occupied during the school day.

However, there is great news for the not too distant future. The next phase of construction will include the 2–story multipurpose building. As part of that building will be a full–time nursery that will be open for use by all ministries including the school during the day. Parents with young children will be able to drop siblings in the nursery while volunteering in the school or attending parish functions. The nursery along with the new cafeteria will be great additions and resources for our school.

Parents are welcome to join their students for donuts and fellowship before school on November 18th at 7 a.m. Parents are also encouraged to walk their children to their classrooms beginning at 7:40 a.m. and stay to watch a special Friday edition of DNN (Dolphin News Network) in the classrooms!

Our next "Talks with Fr. Tom" is on November 16th at 8:15 a.m. in the Parish Life Building. This month’s topic is “How to Make a Good Confession.”

BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS Ahoy Mateys! We're having a Bookaneer Book Fair (November 12–18), where books are the treasure!

Can we hook you into helping for a short time? If you can contribute as little as one hour it would be very much appreciated! Classes visit the book fair throughout the week.
