Family Program Starts This Weekend!
St. Anthony’s award -winning Family Program our parish’s unique approach to religious education begins this weekend! Offered twice a month on either Sunday mornings or Monday evenings, Family Program is designed to support families as they grow in faith together.
The family is the “domestic church,” the first place where faith is taught, nurtured, and lived. Family Program is centered on this, offering a welcoming space for parents, children, and individuals of all ages to deepen their relationship with Christ.
Whether your children attend public school or Catholic school, or even if you don’t have children but want to grow in your faith, everyone is invited to participate.
Parents and children journey side by side as they explore Scripture, learn more about Catholic teaching, and discover practical ways to live out their faith.
The Emeritus Group, sometimes affectionately called “Sunday School for adults,” also meets during Family Program on Sundays at 10:20 a.m. in Room F/G group is ideal for Family Program veterans or any adult seeking fellowship, faith formation, and deeper engagement with their Catholic faith.
Whether you're new to religious education or simply looking to strengthen your family’s faith life, Family Program offers a meaningful, enriching way to grow as disciples of Christ. All are welcome!

To learn more or to register, please contact the parish office or visit our website.

CATHOLIC RELIEF SERV ICES
Be an Advocate for the Poor

A study published in The Lancet estimates that more than 14 million lives could be lost over the next five years due to cuts in U.S. assistance including 4.5 million children under age 5. 88 deaths every hour that’s the current pace, according to Boston University’s analysis. Without urgent action, the toll will keep rising. Families displaced by conflict, children facing hunger, and communities recovering from disaster are all at risk.

Stand with our global family by registering to become an advocate for the poor. It costs nothing and takes less than 2 minutes. www.crs.org/advocate -poor.

Jim Luther Hew Hope Center is Now People’s Table

The Jim Luther New Hope Center has recently become People’s Table . Why the change? As they continue to grow, the organization wants it’s name to reflect who they are, what they do, and how they do it. The name People’s Table speaks to their values of inclusivity, dignity, and connection. It’s a place where people gather to share food, friendship, and support just as we gather each week with our neighbors.
The spirit remains the same, the stories of resilience continue, and the impact continues to grow.

Freshmen Retreat Experience
We had 48 Freshmen Confirmation students on retreat here at St. Anthony on the Lake this past Saturday. Our theme for the day was “Created in His Image & Likeness”. We explored this topic with interactive activities, engaged in meaningful small group discussions, prayer, and fun opportunities to just hang out with each other! Our very own Maggie Flanagan made beautiful bright green rosaries for our teens as a retreat gift. We hope this rosary helps our teens manage the day -to-day anxieties of life in a tangible way. A special thank you to all the teens, small group leaders, kitchen helpers and parishioners who were praying for the retreat.

THINGS I WISH I HAD SAID by Al McCauley
“What I am before God, that I am, and no more. .”
NEWS FROM OUR SCHOOL: 4K … Opening the Door!

Fire safety is a crucial life skill that everyone, including children, should understand and practice. Our 4K class loved learning about Fire Safety and Prevention which included a visit from the Lake Country Fire Department. We learned when there is a fire we need to get out and stay out. We know we should call 9 -1-1 if there is an emergency. We practiced doing STOP, DROP, and ROLL so we know what to do if we ever get fire on our bodies. We discussed things that are flammable and things that are not safe for a child to touch. We each made a fire truck and then through a directive drawing drew a firetruck. We participated in a fire drill, so we know how to safely exit the building. We enjoyed our visit from the Lake Country Fire Department. They talked to us about fire safety and prevention, showed us their special clothes they wear to keep them safe when fighting fires, and gave us a tour

of a firetruck and ambulance. The kids LOVED being able to sit in a real fire truck. By following simple fire safety practices, you can significantly reduce the risk of a fire in your home and be better prepared if one
