RESPECT LIFE INTENTI ONS Oct. 12, 2025
That we may always thank God for the gift of our life and the lives of our children, and work to defend the lives of those in danger, we pray to the Lord…

To get started, scan the QR code or call the parish office at(262) 691 -1173.
Mission Principles at St. Anthony on the Lake School

Live the Gospel Values. Seek the Lost. Commit to Our Faith and Academic Excellence. Serve Others.
These four principles comprise our Mission at St. Anthony on the Lake School. And while we attempt to live out each of these tenets in all we do, one of our primary areas of focus to start the year has been on serving others.
In early September, students and staff participated in Gold in September. Through the construction of prayer blankets for use by families at Children’s Hospital of Milwaukee, and through donations to Kyler’s Krew, valuable resources were made available to those families impacted by childhood cancer. Activities such as this demonstrate to our students the need to support individuals beyond our own school community.
It's also important for our students to recognize that we have families in our midst who may also need our support and assistance. To that end, on Friday we gathered as a school community to participate in the Catholic Schools Walk. Funds raised from the walk go directly to support financial aid for those SAL families in need of tuition assistance.

Pope Leo is quoted as saying, "In order to live eternally, we do not need to cheat death, but to serve life, by caring for others in this, our time together. That is the supreme law that is prior to all society's rules and gives them their meaning."

We continue to adhere to this “supreme law” as we live our mission by serving others.

RESPECT LIFE
Baby Layette Campaign
Our Respect Life Committee is holding a Baby Layette Campaign during October. We will sponsor Life’s Connections in Waukesha. They are mostly in need of diapers, newborn outfits up to 3T, wipes, lotions, baby towels, blankets, swings, carriers, diaper bags, strollers, play-mats, boppy pillows, and bath tubs. Donations can also be made to Life’s Connection. A playpen will be in the Gathering Space. The moms in need are much appreciative.
Jim Luther Hew Hope Center is Now
People’s Table

The Jim Luther New Hope Center has recently become People’s Table . Why the change? As they continue to grow, the organization wants it’s name to reflect who they are, what they do, and how they do it. The name People’s Table speaks to their values of inclusivity, dignity, and connection. It’s a place where people gather to share food, friendship, and support just as we gather each week with our neighbors. The spirit remains the same, the stories of resilience continue, and the impact continues to grow.

THINGS I WISH I HAD SAID by Al McCauley
“All people are born as originals, but many die as photocopies.” - ST. CARLO ACUTIS
NEWS FROM OUR SCHOOL: Opening the Door!

Our K5-8th grade students completed their Fall 2025 MAP Testing. We use the data derived from this standardized test to track individual student growth and school -wide progress, as well as make instructional decisions to support our students’ needs. We are blessed to have a team of teachers, aides, and Resource Specialists who can provide on -level and remedial instruction, as well as enrichment to ensure we are meeting all students’ needs and helping their academic growth and achievement.
Our Fall 2025 MAP Test data indicated that on average, St. Anthony on the Lake students performed at the 77th percentile for Reading achievement and at the 73rd percentile for Math achievement. This is well above the national average of the 50th percentile. Great work Mustangs!
