Vendor and sponsorship opportunities available

St Andrews International School, Green Valley Family Fun Day, Saturday 28 November

St Andrews International School, Green Valley is delighted to be hosting our inaugural Family Fun Day on Saturday 28 January 2023. The community event, held for the first time this year, will place a focus on fundraising for a large number of school-supported charities and will welcome over 500 guests to the school. We are seeking vendors to sell their products at the Market, as well as sponsors who are seeking exposure within our diverse and unique audience.

Information for vendors:

As part of our Family Fun Day, we seek to welcome 15-20 vendors to sell to our audience. From food and drinks to homemade gifts and clothes, all businesses are welcome small and large. 20 stalls are available and the cost per stall is 300THB, with all proceeds going towards the school’s partnered charities.

Information for sponsors:

We welcome sponsorship from companies across the Eastern Seaboard and Pattaya region who would like to gain visibility amongst our community of over 500 families. Sponsorship is available as packages, with all proceeds raised going towards the various projects supported by our partner charities.

Why sponsor the Family Fun Day this year?

At St Andrews, Green Valley, our ‘community of care’ ethos not only encompasses those within our immediate community; it also encompasses the communities and organizations in the local area as well as further across Thailand. Throughout the Primary and Secondary school, our students are actively involved in regular fundraising and action for the schools’ chosen charities and projects. The Family Fun Day forms a core fundraising projects that will raise funds for our partner charities. 100% of the funds raised through the event will be shared across the charities for their projects.

These charities include:

Father Ray Foundation

The Father Ray Foundation is a longstanding Pattaya charity that cares and educates underprivileged children and students with disabilities. The students in the Phuket Island Community have helped by donating rice, clothes, fresh fruit and general food etc on a regular basis. Every year we do a “crazy hair day” where students and staff come in with a crazy hairstyle and donate bags of rice for Father Ray. https://www.fr-ray.org/

Hand2Hand

Hand2Hand is a charity that works with underprivileged children and provides support to communities in slum areas. Samet Island Community has helped by donating food and general supplies. Our students and staff have also participated in the Garden to Market project, by which fruit and vegetables were planted and nurtured by our students before being transplanted and donated to slum areas in Pattaya to offer a sustainable food source. Funds raised from school charity events also go towards sponsoring two underprivileged students through school. https:// www.handtohandpattaya.com/

Mercy

Mercy is a charity that works in communities of the city that are impoverished and struggle for the most basic of needs. Donations are mainly basic items such as rice, cleaning products etc,. Mercy also receive the Christmas present donation that the school contribute to each year, where Father Christmas delivers the presents personally to the children at Mercy. https:// mercypattaya.com/

Baan Chak Maak

Baan Chak Mak is a local Thai school that is in close proximity of St Andrews Green Valley. Our students and staff have helped to paint the school, but also enjoy visiting regularly to play sport and read to the children. Chang Island Community have also donated essential products such as nappies, food wipes and Joke (rice soup) to the community.

This is a school that caters for autistic, down-syndrome and disabled students. It also acts as an orphanage. We help by providing food/detergents/milk/fabric softener etc. http://

Breaking Barriers

BB VAN TRANSPORT, derived from Breaking Barriers, was founded in 2017 in Pattaya, Thailand as the first private, wheelchair-accessible van service in the region. Their main mission is to provide affordable transportation to people with disabilities and have a positive impact on their mental health through increased independence, and regular access to community activities and resources. A student at St Andrews, Green Valley helped to design their website, and the school has supported by paying for the insurance for the van

Operation Smile

As part of the Community Action Service (CAS) component of the IB Diploma Programme, IB students get the opportunity to travel to the Northern provinces in Thailand to help change the lives of many children who have single cleft lip, bilateral cleft lip, cleft palate, or huge areas of scar tissue from burns and skin grafts. Students assist in the provision of the medical procedures and spend some of their time interacting and playing with patients who are about to undergo surgery or are recovering from surgery. www.operationsmile.org

Take Care Kids

Take Care Kids is a local charity that works to save and protect children, and in certain cases single mothers with children, from violence and various forms of severe abuse and to help them rebuild their lives and a new future. So far, the school has supported the charity by donating 10 iPads as educational resources. http://www.takecarekids.org/en/home-en/

Animal Army Foundation:

This local charity strives to improve animal welfare across the Pattaya region. Their primary focus is providing lifesaving medical care of homeless street animals from qualified experts. Our students have organised baking sales to support sterilisation actions and collected dog food/toys for the dogs staying in the clinic. Through a fundraising drive, we have also supported the mass sterilisation action in Na Jomtien.

Raffle prizes:

We are also inviting companies to support our project by donating a prize towards our raffle. These prizes can be anything from a meal voucher, a cash prize, a useful item or even a hotel stay. Raffle prizes are a great way to highlight your brand and offer customers an opportunity to give it a try. All raffle donors will have the opportunity for their logo to be displayed alongside our raffle promotion.
