Year 7 to 10 Visual Arts and Technology Exhibition This year’s Year 7 to 10 Visual Arts and Technology Exhibition opening night on Tuesday 27 August was a fantastic success and was attended by many students, their parents and staff. This year the Visual Arts and Technology staff awarded certificates in the categories of Technical and Creative ability and Principal’s Merit Award. Almost all the award winners attended with their families and friends. We thank the students in Food Technology who made an impressive supper for the night. One of the highlights was the large LCD screen hired in specially to present the animated pixel stories that were done by students in Year 10 Photography. Also popular were the Year 9 group canvasses, the Year 10 architecture model houses and the textile bags and jumpers. The staff feel that now we were able to attract so many parents to support their students’ efforts in visual arts and technology, the event is set to grow next year.
