Caitlin is a role model for all teaching staff. Whilst she is an amazing teacher of higher performing students who are in the more challenging subjects of her faculty, she is also able to understand the needs of learners for whom maths does not come so easily.
Nothing is ever too much trouble for Cailtin, she works extremely hard to ensure that all maths students are achieving the best possible outcomes.
Caitlin is always approachable, to those inside and outside her faculty. She comes up with solutions, communicates effectively and understands other perspectives.

Sam always looks at ways to value add and has a steadfast focus on pedagogy. In planning English units, her focus has been to design units that increase student independence, encourage creativity and that inspire students to work collaboratively.
Sam is also very generous in creating and sharing resources in the wider community. For example, Sam presented a unit of work to the English Techers Association that was written for the new ATAR system. She is well known for her generosity in sharing her English expertise with other schools.
Sam is quick to acknowledge when things are not working, and consistently reflects on her practice. She genuinely seeks and responds to feedback from both staff and students.
Award for Service to the St Aidan’s Community Narelle Levander

Words cannot adequately express Narelle’s dedication and passion for her role as Prep Teacher Aide. Working at St Aidan’s since 2004, she has touched many lives of the young (and old) here at St Aidan’s and within the wider community. She often has past students from the Senior School come over with a huge embrace and reminisce on their time in Prep with Mrs Levander. It’s obvious she provides the students with such fond memories of their first years of school.
Narelle’s care for some of the youngest in our school community shows how she encapsulates the School’s ethos. Each person in her class is valued as an individual and encouraged to reach their potential. Taking time with the Preps who need extra support, she exudes patience, warmth and encouragement whilst making every experience enjoyable and rewarding for the students.
Narelle always goes above and beyond to do her best for the people she cares about.
Please join us in congratulating Mrs McCluskey, Mrs Doig and Mrs Levander.
