Cocktail Party & Art Exhibition

Thank you to all our wonderful supporters who joined us for an evening of art and entertainment at the annual P&F Cocktail Party and Art Show. This year we were also delighted to have past student and current parent, Alison Hill, as our guest speaker. Alison truly embodies this year’s theme of being inspirational. Alison has completed a Bachelor of Visual Arts (with additional studies in biology, geology and museum management) and it was inspiring to see her demonstrating the way she seamlessly moves between all disciplines. The night was successful in raising over $11,000 for the Artist-In-Residence Program at St Aidan’s.

Thank you to our sponsors for their support: Lexus Indooroopilly, The Cheese Pleaser, Place Graceville, Sequel Books, Clovely Estate, Embodied Yoga, Harrowsmiths International and the Boyd Family

Fresh Fruit & Veg Co-op

The P&F in partnership with Harrowsmiths International organised a grocery cooperative to provide high quality bulk fresh fruit, vegetables and meat to the St Aidan’s community in Term 2. This initiative provided quality produce direct from the supplier with no supermarket crowds and with convenient online ordering at the height of COVID 19 lockdown. A big thank you to Alistair and Colette Brown of Harrowsmiths International for their support.

Container Recycling Project

The P&F in partnership with the School’s SRC are participating in a recycling program facilitated by Scouts Recycling Centres. Seven large bins have been purchased by the P&F and distributed between Junior and Senior Schools. It is the aim of the P&F and the SRC to keep this project running well into the future.
