STARTING POINT Thursday, March 11 • 7PM • Zoom Starting Point is a casual conversation for those new to St. Luke’s. Gain an orientation to St. Luke’s and leave with recommended next steps to help you find your place within the church. This is a thirty minute class. LABYRINTH Sunday, March 14 • 4:30-6PM • 2nd Presbyterian Take time during Lent to walk and pray at the 2nd Presbyterian’s outside concrete labyrinth. You are invited to

slow down, breathe, focus on each step and open yourself to the holy. If you have never walked a labyrinth before, someone will be present to introduce you to this spiritual discipline. Come anytime between 4:30 and 6pm. Your walk will take about 1/2 hour. Co-sponsored by the Community for Contemplation & Justice and 2nd Presbyterian Church.

Open to all - families are welcome.

EXPLORING MEMBERSHIP CLASS Thursday, March 18 • 7PM • Zoom The Exploring Membership Class will help you learn more about the United Methodist Church and the process for formally joining St. Luke’s. Here you’ll learn more about who we are, our beliefs, and our mission to be an affirming community of Christians helping people find and give hope through Jesus Christ - regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, nationality, disability, or socioeconomic background. You’ll also get to hear the story of our church and discuss what it means to be a member of this local congregation through serving, growing in your faith journey, moving toward generosity, and more.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS Sunday, March 21 • In-Person & Online The annual Stations of the Cross will be available outside the building due to COVID-19 from Sunday, March 21 until Tuesday, April 6. This journey has been adapted to our St. Luke’s audience as part of our Lenten experience.

Expect a scripture, meditation, prayer and connection to a ministry or an organization that works to serve those in our community. Each meditation will be accessible through a QR code on your phone and a written version at each station. You’ll begin at the Welcome Station in the front of the church on 86th St, in remembrance of Jesus’s final hours from his meeting with Pilot to and end with the Resurrection story. The entire in-person experience will take about 45 minutes and is wheelchair accessible. An online version will also be made available at stlukesumc.com/ stations.

EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA Saturday, March 27 • 10AM to Noon • Parking Lot Join our Children’s Ministry for Easter Eggstravaganza 202!

This in-person experience will be filled with worship music, EGGstreme games, Easter story crafts, obstacle course egg hunt for preschool-Elementary, and a traditional egg hunt for the littlest ones! (Pre-register to sign up for a time slot).

FOR FAMILIES WITH SPECIAL NEEDS | THE GREAT HALL Join us in the Great Hall for crafts, sensory activities, bubbles, and an egg hunt. This area will be decorated in a garden theme as a quieter setting with dim lighting. This event is for children ages 1-12 with special needs and their family members. Pre-register here to sign up for a time slot.

TAKE A TREE, PLANT A TREE Saturday, March 27 • 1-3PM • Church Door #1 Our Creation Care Ministry has 200 bald cypress and river birch trees that need homes. Planting instructions included with each tree. Drive through and pick up one or more trees. Planting a tree is a great family activity too. Thank you for caring for the creation God has given us!

THE WELL Thursdays • 9PM • Facebook Women do so much: leading, working, serving, cooking, cleaning, parenting, adulting, managing, planning, praying, teaching, building - just to name a few! And doing so much often leaves us empty, exhausted, and alone. We need a place where we can connect with other women and reconnect with God. We need THE WELL, a weekly virtual gathering place for women of all ages to laugh, learn, and

grow together. And the best part? You can join us in your jammies! Hosted by Pastor Nicole Caldwell-Gross, this invitation-only virtual group launches live on Facebook every Thursday at 9PM. So ladies, as you’re pouring yourself out in so many different ways, to so many different people, fill your soul up and meet us at THE WELL. GROW IN SERVICE TO OTHERS YOUTH STOCK SALES Invest in Student Ministries by donating directly to those going on mission trips! Donate $50 to support a student, and in return, you’ll receive a personalized note from mission trip participants while they are on their trip, as well as an invitation to a shareholders lunch in the fall where you will hear stories from them in person. PASSION PROJECT DONATIONS Each year, our 8th grade small groups complete a passion project where they use their gifts to serve others. This year, we’ll be collecting used sporting goods equipment...just in time for spring cleaning! Some items will be donated to those in need while others will be sold to Play-It-Again Sports and the proceeds will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Indianapolis. Simply drop your items off any time throughout the month of March in the bin in front of the Lodge. If you have any large equipment that they cannot move, contact Jason Rose at jason@indyshomepage.com.
