God of Grace and God of Glory | No. 577

LITURGY from BAPTISMAL SERVICE

Dr. Regina Proctor Leader: Do you believe in God the Father? All: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of heaven and earth Leader: Do you believe in Jesus Christ? All: I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and will come again to judge the living and the dead. Leader: Do you believe in the Holy Spirit? All: I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy universal church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

GLORIA PATRI ANNOUNCEMENTS PRAYER TIME & THE LORD’S PRAYER

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
