GET TO KNOW US

With the acquisition of a medical equipment planning firm in 2018, SSR has gained the national and international experience and in-depth knowledge to assist hospitals, architects, and developers with all facets of equipment planning including inventory, transition planning, and move management. At SSR, we know that every project is unique in its scope, challenges, and deliverables. Because of this, we do not use the “cookie cutter” approach to medical equipment planning. Instead, we offer solutions tailored to each project’s particular specifications, including a project engagement team prepared to deliver exceptional results. Our medical equipment planners combine exemplary strategic planning knowledge, strong analytics, client collaboration, process management, and extensive experience to ensure that you achieve your desired project objectives.

To do this, we use a proprietary software called Equipment Solution Planning (ESP). ESP is designed specifically for medical equipment + IT planning and utilizes the same database for budgeting, planning, and procurement for equipment and IT. This keeps all important information together and at the ready, enabling us to establish a strong reputation for facilitating change and delivering on our clients’ expectations.

EQUIPMENT PLANNINGINVENTORY

WHAT WE DO SSR conducts an inventory of existing medical equipment to support clients with: • Existing inventory audit showing equipment condition, quantities, and current locations • Develop medical equipment inventory for internal client management, to and from tracking and excess equipment disposal • Suggested replacement cost reports and technical specifications The physical count is taken by staff members familiar with the equipment, its function, and the ability to recognize quickly and accurately the condition, accessories required, and usable life of the equipment. All information is provided through ESP. All end of life equipment is verified and documented by the manufacturer.

Utilizing Equipment Solution Planning (ESP), a proprietary web-based software planning tool, our team of experienced equipment consultants provide a streamlined process for equipment planning. Relying on their extensive backgrounds and experience, our team integrates seamlessly into clients’ teams, sharing tools and expertise to develop budgets, equipment plans by department, drawings, and technical specifications. With its real-time data, ESP’s cloud-based access provides current equipment data and budget information to clients and the design team 24/7.

Moving, warehousing, and relocating new and existing medical equipment to your new space is a daunting task. We understand the challenges involved with equipping a single department or an entire hospital, which is why we have designed a move management service that supports the needs of both your facility and the individual departments involved to assist your team to transition care.

Following the equipment planning phase, the SSR planning team offers procurement services in order to ensure continuity of crucial planning information. Our firm is vendor-neutral, providing our clients with the most up-to-date purchasing opportunities and best pricing resulting in tailor-made solutions for your procurement needs.
