We are off to a great start for the 20242025 school year Our school is growing with close to 125 new students starting this fall. We have 5 sections of 4-year old preschool, 1 section of TK, and 4 Kindergarten classrooms. We also added a third section of 4th Grade Plus there are many other new faces sprinkled throughout the grades Please help us welcome all of our new families to St. Edmond. We are so grateful they made the choice to attend our school and we look forward to partnering with our new parents to provide an excellent, holistic, Catholic education for their children
Mr. Ruble sent out his first Quarterly Newsletter, SEG-ment to families and students ahead of the start of 2024-2025 school year. Mr. Ruble is showing his school spirit by wearing his new St. Edmond logo’d tie and green/white tennis shoes on the first day of school!
THREE VARIETY OF WAYS TO GIVE
Each year the alumni of St. Edmond Catholic School are invited to show financial support of our system in a variety of ways. The Partners in the Spirit Annual Fund Campaign, the Saint Edmond Ball, and the Msgr. Lafferty Tuition Assistance Fund are the three main ways that contributions are made.
THE PARTNERS IN THE SPIRIT ANNUAL FUND CAMPAIGN
Partners in the Spirit is our annual fund campaign conducted by the development office It begins in the fall and concludes at the end of the fiscal year or June 30th This fund seeks financial support from alumni, parents, past parents, parishioners, faculty, staff, school board, corporations, businesses and friends.
Restricted and Unrestricted gifts of all sizes are accepted and appreciated. In addition, there are scholarships, tuition aid, salary enhancement, campus ministry, and technology funds set up to receive gifts as well

The Friends of Saint Edmond Ball was held in May and brought in a gross of $404,197.
These funds go directly to the operating costs of St Edmond Catholic School
MSGR. LAFFERTY TUITION ASSISTANCE FUND
The Msgr Lafferty Tuition Assistance Fund is an initiative of the Sioux City Diocese that incorporates a State of Iowa tax credit to contributing donors for their support
$301,136 was generated for many St Edmond families in need of tuition assistance.
