The 39th Annual Friends of Saint Edmond Ball is around the corner, we are excited to announce that it will be back in person! Co-chairs Matt & Sarah Cosgrove and Chad & Molly Schaeffer want to invite you to join us for a fun-filled weekend of activities. The Ball will be held at the Starlite Village on May 7, 2022 at 6 p.m. Virtual coverage will be available on the Saint Edmond Facebook page for those who cannot attend. The annual golf outing will be held on May 6 and the Alumni and Friends Basketball Tournament will be making a return during the day of the Ball. There will also be a vendor fair at the school that morning. Matt and Sarah Cosgrove were happy to step up as Ball chairs this year. “We are both 3rd generation St. Edmond families who see the value in Catholic Education. We truly believe in the mission that this school is a place where values and academics meet,” said Matt.

WHERE VALUES AND ACADEMICS MEET

S p irit!

Molly and Chad Schaeffer were honored to step into the Ball chair position. Molly stated, “As people who moved in to Fort Dodge, we have been embraced by the St. Edmond family. We are grateful for the education, friendships, and experiences we ourselves and our kids have had because of this school.” Sharing our Faith, Creating our Legacy….Together is the theme for this year’s event. As a teacher in the school, Sarah Cosgrove sees this in action. She says, “It is nice to see so many of my former students giving back to the school. It is truly a family. Many come back and send their kids to this school because of the faith. They partner with us to continue this legacy.” This year’s band is Tank Anthony which features some of our young alumni. It is great that they are sharing their talent to help raise funds for the school.

Besides the band, the ball chairs have worked hard to find many fantastic items for the silent and live auctions. There will also be a wine & whiskey pull that patrons can take part in. Our silent auction can be viewed at biddingforgood.com/seball as early as April 10. We wanted to make part of the evening online to include those who might not be able to attend. We will also have portions of the evening “Live” on the Saint Edmond Facebook page. Viewers from home will be able to tune in at 6:00 pm to hear from some guests and our ball chairs. At 8:30 we will hold our live auction that viewers will have the opportunity to tune in for. -continued on page 4.
