Bhavsar Vision India (BVI), Shimoga of Area 102 organizes medical camps for needy Bhavsar people in Tulaja Bhavani Temple on second Sunday of every month. The doctors from Bhavsar community with the help of few other willing doctors treat the patients and give suggestions on the regular basis. BVI, Shimoga always wanted to extend this medical service to rural areas as a part of the mega project for the year 2012. So, Bhavsar Vision India, Shimoga, in association with Sankara Eye Hospital, Sharavathi Dental College, Family Planning Association of India (FPAI) and the local (Holehonnur) Bhavsar Samaj organized a Mega Medical camp in Holehonnur village on 4th November 2012. About 700 people attended the camp and made use of the free check up and treatments provided by doctors belonging to different specialties. Along with the Bhavsars, the people belonging to other communities had also attended the camp. The team work of BVI, Shimoga and other volunteers has resulted in a successful camp, which has made all of us very proud.
