NEW LEADER

The transition from peer into a leadership position can be a difficult one. New managers and supervisors are often high individual performers, but are ill equipped with the new set of skills and behaviours required to effectively drive business outcomes through a team.

The AIM New Leader program combines the foundational skills and knowledge of great management with ongoing support to ensure a successful transition. Including a DiSC behavioural assessment, AIM New Leaders understand their own communication and management style and can identify how to get the best out of their team.

of managers wish they had received more training when they took the step into a management role.

The AIM New Leader program includes a DiSC® personality and behaviour profile to help new managers to:

- Improve working relationships by recognising the communication needs of team members

- Increase self-knowledge: how you respond to conflict, what motivates you, what causes you stress, and how you solve problems

- Facilitate better teamwork and teach productive conflict
