ALUMNA JOINS ST. PHILIP’S BOARD OF TRUSTEES
...being able to share firsthand with other board members what St. Philip’s has done for me helps further the mission and impact...
Cynammon Burns Allen, Class of 2000, is a licensed attorney in both Texas and Georgia. She is a graduate of American University with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and received her JD from Charlotte School of Law. Cynammon has been an active member of St. Philip’s Alumni Committee over the years where she has supported various alumni engagement activities. She is currently Managing Attorney at Burns Allen PLLC. We are thrilled to have her serve as the first alum to join the board of trustees.
“Being the first is a tremendous honor and privilege! I believe that being able to share firsthand with other board members what St. Philip’s has done for me, and my family and other families alike just helps further the mission and impact of St. Philip’s,” Burns Allen explains. The “impact” is what she remembers most about how her elementary school made her feel. “At a very young age, St. Philips instilled in me confidence in my own skin to be who I am and what God created me to be, no matter what!”
She and her husband have two beautiful children.
Tia Flowers Starghill, Class of 2005
