DREAM IT. BELIEVE IT. BUILD IT.
THE MIGHTY IMPACT OF ST. PHILIP’S TRANSFORMATIVE WE BELIEVE CAMPAIGN
Transformation is a choice. Over the last six years, St. Philip’s School and Community Center embarked on its boldest and largest fundraising venture to date – WE BELIEVE. This multifaceted campaign, spearheaded by two cabinets comprised of 52 members, collaborated with Perot Family Headmaster, Dr. Terry J. Flowers, and two Chief Philanthropy Officers – Benaye Wadkins Chambers and Anyika McMillan-Herod, to successfully increase St. Philip’s visibility in the larger community AND to secure resources to strengthen the Annual Fund, Endowment, core educational and social service programs, and community development efforts. The ultimate goal of WE BELIEVE was to position St. Philip’s for vital growth and sustainability in the years to come.
With a goal of $50 million, this campaign required a dynamic team, clear strategy, and God’s favor to ensure success. Over 140 donors contributed to WE BELIEVE. Gifts ranged from $2,000 to $3 Million. This included 11 gifts of $1 million or more, 43 six figure commitments, 52 five figure commitments, and over 30 commitments of four figures and less.
The tremendous impact of WE BELIEVE is undeniable in its six FOCUS AREAS OF TRANSFORMATION -- Annual Fund growth, Campus Expansion & Renovation, Community Development, Education & Staffing, Endowment growth and Hunger Relief.
