The wait is over.
After more than three months of pre-season grind, eight Springfield United masters teams – a new club record and the most of any Queensland Masters Football (QMF) club this season - will set out for glory in Round 1 fixtures on Friday night.

With the over-35 division 1 side handed a bye to start the season, division 3 will lead the way at home to Annerley at 7pm. Both sides have earned promotion after dominant 2022 campaigns, with Springfield claiming the division 4 premiership and Annerley winning the division 5 double.
In division 5, newly-promoted Springfield will face an immediate test of their credentials against last season’s premiership and grand final runners up, Redlands, at Cleveland at 7pm.
In the division 7 Maroon competition, Springfield will host Centenary at 7pm, while the club’s division 7 White outfit will make the trip to Redlands at 8.30pm.
After battling in last year’s over-45 division 1, Springfield will be without a team in the top flight this season, instead fielding one team in division 2 and two in division 3.
Division 2 open their campaign at home to Rochedale at 8.30pm, with the Foxes to host Holland Park at the same time in division 3.

The Hunters play away to 2022 division 3 semi-finalists Southside Eagles at 8.30pm.
