Some mixed results for SUFC Metro men this week, with some huge wins and some even bigger loses, let’s have a look how the teams went

Metro 8, the less that is said is better. A 14-1 loss to a stacked South’s Team A Nathan Nguyen penalty being the one for Springfield. Metro 8 travel to Rocklea to take on Brisbane Knights, 6:30 Friday.

Similar, Metro 7 suffered another loss to a strong Teviot outfit, final score being 6-1 Teviot. Metro 7 host local rivals Ripley in a 5pm game on Saturday.
Metro 6 Central after SUFC’s solitary point in round 1 were able to get SUFC’s first metro win for the season with a 6-1 thumping of Southside Eagles SUFC’s resident tap in merchant, Sam Chadwick scoring a hattrick (only two we’re tap ins) with goals from Eryk Legaspi, Matt Lavern and Rory Duncan helping to a big win. Metro 6 Central travel to Taringa for a 4pm kick off Saturday hoping to continue their strong form.
Metro 6 South took on Holland Park away Saturday Night in what would be another close game. Unfortunately the boys went down by one goal again, after giving away two pens and missing one of their own The score finished 3-2 to Holland Park after we led 2-0 Aleks and Josh Batty the goal scorers. The lads host Western Pride this Saturday at 7pm in another local derby.
Metro 5 Central hosted newcomers West End FC at the summit looking to hit the ground running after missing out on round 1 Hayden Brook was able to make some great saves and Kevin Barraclough scored what we hope to be his first hattrick of many. Unfortunately West End got the better of them and won the game 4-3 Metro 5C travel to Yeronga 5pm, Saturday
Metro 5 South also traveled to Holland Park on Friday and blew them away. The score finishing 8-2 to the boys, resembling the amount of beers each of them would’ve had after the game, 82. Metro 5S host Logan Lighting this Friday at 'The Summit'
